We resource Guatemalan leaders who help children in Guatemala City grow up safe and hopeful about what’s ahead.
Youth Development
Through partner-run academic centers, children receive after-school tutoring, school supplies, shoes, and consistent mentoring from trusted adults. The centers also provide parent education and spiritual formation, keeping kids engaged in school and connected to a community that believes in their future. Hundreds of children receive supplies and shoes each year through our partnerships.
Gang Prevention
In neighborhoods where gangs actively recruit children, our partners operate centers that give young people an alternative: a safe place after school, relationships with adults they can trust, and structured activities that build life skills and purpose. This work is the front line. It keeps children alive and connected to the community, rather than lost to the streets.
Community Relief
Every day, children receive meals at partner centers. Through our local partnerships in Guatemala, children receive free medical checkups, many for the first time. When urgent needs arise, whether food, medicine, or crisis support, relief reaches families quickly because our partners live in the neighborhoods they serve.
